Generation Rescue.org is a wonderful resource for parents that provides information highlighting the biomedical roots and treatment plans for the symptoms of autism. Their recovery stories provide solutions and/or hope for a better quality of life for our children. After doing a review on several of the books the editors invited me to share my story of how the books came to be through my efforts to connect with my youngest son, Jake. This post shares how words were not needed to build trust and a meeting of the minds which led to eventual language development despite my the severity of my son’s condition.
