Generation Rescue.org is a wonderful resource for parents that provides information highlighting the biomedical roots and treatment plans for the symptoms of autism. Their recovery stories provide solutions and/or hope for a better quality of life for our children. After doing a review on several of the books the editors invited me to share my story of how the books came to be through my efforts to connect with my youngest son, Jake. Bonding with Books – Words not Necessary
I’m a passionate early childhood/special education teacher. My mission shifted to full-time caregiver for my youngest son, Jake, who is now a young adult. Vaccine-injured as an infant, he was diagnosed with autism and intermittent explosive disorder. The resulting extraordinary challenges to all areas of his development and health have called me to dig deeper and grow creatively as a mother, teacher, and human-being of Faith.
